What Gear We Take
High quality gear lives here.
11/1/24: We’re out of hangers and our racks are bursting! We will take a maximum of 3 softgoods per consignor this week. Check back next week for new updates!
Two Seasons
2024-2025 Winter consignment season begins September 2!
Because our space is limited, we take only seasonally appropriate gear. We will stock winter gear from approximately October-March, and summer gear from April-September.
Typically we begin accepting winter gear on September 1, and summer gear on March 1.
What we take.
We take clean high quality gently used (and new) outdoor gear and clothing. We only accept reputable outdoor brands (no knock offs or department store brands), gear from the last ~10 years (unless it has retro appeal), and gear that is free from defects or damage that are unrepaired. We try to stock things that are applicable to the recreation in the greater North Central Washington area such as hiking, biking, kayaking/SUPing, skiing/snowboarding, XC ski, and camping gear. Please limit your items to 10 apparel and 10 gears items per week, this ensures that there is space for everyone’s items.
Examples:
Camping: tents, sleeping bags, sleeping pads, cookware and stoves
Hiking: boots, backpacks, day packs, trekking poles, clothing
Biking: modern mountain bike and gravel components, pads, clothing, hip packs, bikepacking bags, flat style MTB shoes
Watersports: clothing, shoes, SUPs, kayaks, paddles, pogies, wetsuits, drysuits
Ski/Snowboard: skis and snowboards (10 years or newer), bindings (if they are on the indemnified list), outerwear, goggles, boots, gloves, shovels, probes
XC Ski: skis, poles, boots, gloves, clothing
Summer things we take that have a price cap:
We accept the following items but cap their prices due to high volume received:
Running/trail shoes: $35
Technical tank tops and t-shirts: $18
What we don’t take.
Here are some general examples of things we do not take. This is not an exhaustive list and we reserve the right to refuse to take any gear for any reason.
Dirty, smelly, ripped, or damaged gear (in some instances we can take nice gear that has a well-repaired rip)
Gear that is more than 10 years old (unless it has retro appeal, or in some cases XC skis in very good condition)
Technical underwear, chamois, swimsuits, sports bras or socks unless they are new in package
Helmets (of any type), climbing harnesses or ropes, avalanche beacons unless they are new in package
Gear that you don’t own outright
Stolen gear- we will check serial numbers and national registries for high ticket items.
Sports gear like baseball, basketball, and most other ball sports
Complete bikes- for bike consignment, visit Eastside Cycles in Leavenworth!
