Growing up in Issaquah, WA introduced me to the outdoors at an early age. As a kid, hiking was an easy introduction to the outdoors because all you needed were some snacks and a pair of shoes. As I grew up, the urge to enjoy all the downhill after the uphill has pushed me to pursue Snowboarding, Splitboarding, Mountain Biking, and kayaking. Yes, sometimes we even hike kayaks into places. These days I spend all winter chasing the perfect turn on snow and splitting my summer tapping into the flow state on bike trails and in the river.
My experience as a guide and an avid recreation enthusiast will help me assist you in finding the right piece of gear to help you enjoy your passions.

I dove head first into the outdoor industry at 16 and haven’t looked back. I loved the way being active in the outdoors could challenge me and calm me simultaneously. In the 16 years since, my roles have included work at climbing gyms, ski areas, bike tour companies, sewing bikepacking bags, and as a bike mechanic.
I spent several years on the road, living first out of a Honda CRV, then a van. During those years I followed my passion for climbing which morphed into an interest in bike touring and backpacking, then backcountry skiing, and a little bit of everything in between. I finally landed back on biking as my favorite outdoor activity.
My goal is to make the outdoors more accessible to everyone in our valley by sharing knowledge, building community, and being a resource for all your gear questions.

My love of the outdoors began early during my childhood, exploring the woods of Maryland. I spent countless hours digging holes, climbing trees, and looking under rocks.
After years of living in the flatlands of the East Coast and Midwest, I made one of the best decisions of my life and moved to Washington in 2019. It is here, with the rolling hills of Arrow-Leaf Balsamroot, the brilliant alpine lakes, and the boisterous Steller’s Jays that I choose to live, work, and adventure. I appreciate all time spent outside. It is my place of solace and happiness. I especially enjoy hiking, camping, and visiting hot springs.
My expertise lies in all things running and photography (especially silver-gelatin and antique processes). I am passionate about all forms of learning and community building. I value helping others connect to each other and with our wonderful natural environment in which we live.

Born in Naches, Washington I grew up packing horses into Wilderness areas around the PNW with my family for the first 14 years or so of my life. I realized horses weren’t my passion, but that being outside was a great time! Two years ago I found a love for skiing and am excited to broaden my horizons into paddling and biking! When I first started in these sports, I felt overwhelmed by the gear. I found wonderful people to help me through the steep learning curve, and I hope to provide that same service to this community! Accessibility is important to me- learning these skills have been a process for me and I would love to lessen the burden on others that are interested in pursuing new adventures outside. I’m always looking for more buddies so come say hi!
