Bikepacking Group Overnight

We are planning for our first ever bikepacking group overnight!  It will be August 11-12 and we'll be riding the Wenatchee Crest Trail at the top of Blewett Pass.  This route is a dirt double track full of gentle rolling hills, incredible views, and a casual 5 mile distance each direction.  This event is open to riders of all levels and experience!  You do not need to have attended any of the Intro to Bikepacking sessions to come to this event.

Can't come to this event?  Do not fret!  We will do our best to schedule more overnighters in September and October.  I found a lot of fun looking routes with a lot of variation in distance and difficulty while planning for this one!

Important Details:

Meet time: 7:00 PM at Wenatchee Crest Trail; you will need a Northwest Forest Pass for parking.  The riding should take no more than an hour, which should give us time to set up camp before the sunset at 8:20.  If you need more time to rig up your bike, please plan on getting there a bit earlier to be ready to depart the parking area by 7.

RSVP: Please send us an email to let us know if you're coming so we know how many people to wait for!

Food/Water: There is no water along the route, so please bring enough for the entire outing. I will personally probably just grab a burrito to bring with me and not plan on cooking dinner, but you're welcome to bring your camp cooking set up if you want to make dinner or breakfast at camp!  I'll be stopping at 97 Rock on the way home Saturday morning to grab breakfast if anyone wants to join!

Return Time: If you have somewhere to be on Saturday please feel free to wake up whenever you need and ride back to the parking area at any time!  For those wanting to stick together as a group, I estimate we'll probably leave camp by 8:30 and be back to the cars around 9:15.

Gear: We have tons of extra bikepacking gear and camping gear available to anyone who needs it!  Please shoot me an email with what you need and we will make sure to get you geared up beforehand.
